​​This is the original "Badge of Honor" drawing, created in graphite by artist Christopher Schwan, on an acid-free heavyweight illustration board, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The drawing measures 20 inches by 30 inches and includes a white border around the drawing to allow space for matting and framing.
 
Chris has worked alongside firefighters as a paramedic for more than 30 years.  Through his creative art, Chris wanted to honor these brave men and women for their dedicated service in protecting our communities.  His vision was to capture the true essence and professionalism of these firefighters by making the Maltese Cross the central focal point of the artwork.  Billowing smoke would fill the backdrop with firefighters surrounding the Maltese Cross, giving the drawing a three-dimensional effect. Chris's vision has now come to life with “Badge of Honor” – artwork that reflects their dedicated service.
