Christopher Schwan is a self-taught artist residing in North Carolina who specializes in ultra-realistic pencil drawings. He has been honing his skills as a pencil artist since his teenage years.

Schwan’s artistic style focuses on realism.  He enjoys drawing subjects related to rustic landscapes, people, and wildlife.  He is expanding his subjects to include the military and firefighters and will soon add additional drawings for these two professions.​​

​When creating his artwork, Schwan starts by applying graphite to the paper, then uses a smooth material, like a chamois or lens cleaner cloth, to blend and smooth out the graphite. Using mechanical pencils, he adds textures and ultra-realistic details.​​​​
