The "rut" is a period during the season when male whitetail deer begin to show aggression toward one another. They engage in battles for dominance, with the larger, stronger, and more mature males winning the right to mate. ​“Bachelor Party” depicts three whitetail deer moving through the forest just before the rut.

​​​The original "Bachelor Party" drawing, created in graphite by artist Christopher Schwan, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, is available for purchase. The drawing measures 12 inches by 24 inches and includes a white border around the drawing to allow space for matting and framing.

 

Additionally, museum-quality archival prints are available measuring 11 inches by 22-1/2 inches. Each print features a white border surrounding the image.
