During the "rut," male whitetail deer show aggression toward one another. They engage in battles for dominance, with the larger, stronger, and more mature males winning the right to mate.  ​“Winner Takes All" depicts two whitetail deer in a fierce battle for that right.  

 

​​​​The original "Winner Takes All" drawing, created in graphite by artist Christopher Schwan, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, is available for purchase. The drawing measures 12 inches by 24 inches and includes a white border around the drawing to allow space for matting and framing.
